The Grand Sancerre region, and more broadly, the Center-Loire, have nothing left to prove when it comes to the quality of their wines. The Vineyard Route invites you to discover these oenological wonders through a journey among hills, vineyards, cellars, and castles. This route through a natural garden will introduce you to several controlled designation of origin (AOC) appellations: Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, and Coteaux du Giennois. Renowned for their lively white wines made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape, some of these terroirs also produce a fruity red wine from Pinot Noir and a “grey” wine, which is nothing other than a light rosé, to be enjoyed sip by sip.
